Hi Maria,

I am Ray Sparks’ (former Mayor of Hamilton) sister. Something really interesting is happening in our family right now that might interest you and your readers.

Briefly, Roy Sneed, our uncle, a fighter-pilot on Bataan, Philippines, on Dec. 7, 1942, has been listed as MIA since 1945 when the Japanese POW ship he was on was bombed in transit to Japan. We later learned he was killed that day.
