The Hamilton County Commissioners Court approved lifting the burn ban at Tuesday’s meeting.
The ban has been in place since Oct. 1.
“There is never a time you can take all of the danger out of burning,” Commissioner Lloyd Huggins said.
Many of the commissioners said they received phone calls from citizens needing to burn, and fall/ winter presented the most stable weather the area has all year.
