A burn ban will go into effect Friday, Oct. 1, throughout Hamilton County after noticeably dry conditions in the county.
The ban was put into place unanimously by the Hamilton County Commissioners Court Tuesday, Sept. 28, at their regularly scheduled meeting.
The ban is in place for the next 90 days unless repealed by the commissioners or the county judge.
