Hamilton’s Lady Bulldog softball team shut out Meridian in Hamilton last Friday, 16-0, in a ballgame that was called after just 2 1/2 innings of play.
The Lady Bulldogs grabbed 13 runs in the first inning alone as Meridian struggled to find the strike zone. Hamilton’s batters drew 14 walks and scattered four hits in the win to improve to 10-4-1 on the year and 6-1 in district.
