Backed by first baseman Jacy Williams, Jonesboro softball pitcher Kinsey Smith (pictured) threw out the first pitch in Jonesboro’s new softball facility versus Hico on Monday of this week. The Lady Eagles succumbed to Hico’s active bats by a score of 16-5 in their home opener. Jonesboro was led offensively in the game by Lisa Pimento who crossed the plate twice and drove in two runs on two hits.
