Volunteers gathered Sunday to help American Legion Cunningham Post 222 distribute flags on the graves of veterans for Memorial Day. When it came time for a photo, they social-distanced in family groups. At right, Emma Thompson, a lone scout affiliated with local scout troop 311, places a flag at the grave of Bernard D. Cunningham for whom the American Legion post was named.
