The Hamilton City Council meeting held Thursday was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. rather than its customary start time of 6 p.m. to ensure a quorum as several council members needed to leave early to attend the annual daddy-daughter dance held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hamilton.
