Hamilton’s Jim Long was honored with a Quilt of Valor Dec. 28 in a ceremony led by his granddaughter, Satie Englehardt.
Jim is a paramedic for Hamilton Healthcare System’s EMS department and also a volunteer firemen at Pottsville.
Englehardt has been making these quilts as part of the Nebraska 4-H program for three years and has been able to present each one to its recipient.
