After 130 years of faithful religious service to the Hamilton community, St. Mary’s Anglican Church will hold its final church service on Sunday, Sept. 20.
St. Mary’s is the oldest church to remain on its original location in Hamilton. In 1966, the Texas State Historical Survey Committee designated the church a historic site and assigned it an official historical marker Number 6375.
