Doris I. Lunsford Garrett, 86, of Hamilton passed away on Aug. 29, 2026, following a lengthy illness.
Doris was born on May 27, 1940.
She was preceded in death by loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles W. Garrett of Hamilton; children, Larry G. Sharp (Carol) of Abilene and Charles K. “Chuck” Sharp (Misti) of Burleson; stepchildren Connie Garrett and Carmen Garrett of Hamilton, Cindy Garrett of Harlingen and Clayton Garrett ( Brenda) of Sheffield, Alabama; sister Arlene Brown of Oklahoma; brother Kenneth Lunsford of Dublin as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Doris will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind
