Saturday is election day again. They come around so quickly.
This writer could never run for office for lack of thick skin and qualification, but admires anyone willing to step up and serve. Our elected officials serve for zero to minimal pay and give countless hours to keep our community going.
They also set themselves up for ridicule, second-guessing, name-calling and social media crucifixion.
