Ten members of the Hico 1871 TOPS chapter attended the State Recognition Days in San Marcos, on May 1617.
Member Tamama Bakken was recognized as the Chapter Queen for being the Hico member that lost the most weight for the year 2024.
Bakken was also awarded KOPS (Keep Off Pounds) graduation recognition for being the chapter member that had reached her goal weight in 2024 and has maintained her loss.
