Melody and Harley Thompson have been living in their new home for more than a year, but last week they officially got parents and a new last name.
Their adoption was finalized April 8 virtually before Judge Shaun Carpenter in the 220 th District Court of Texas. Family and friends watched online and plan a big celebration when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
