I have never been good at deadlines. Just ask my sixth-grade English teacher Barbara Johnson, my sophomore-year English instructor Louis Lowe, or better yet, my now mother-in-law Tina Summers, who had the unfortunate task of guiding me through my senior year in high school. None of them could have possibly imagined I’d enter a world of deadlines 12 years ago in purchasing the Hamilton Herald-News.
