Hamilton Police Department officers foiled an attempt to fill a counterfeit prescription last Wednesday.
On Sept. 23, HPD was notified of an individual who had turned in a questionable prescription at a local pharmacy. After brief investigation, officers found the prescription was fake and arrived at the pharmacy as the prescription was being picked up.
