The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new recruit, one flown in
from Europe specifically to fill this position.
Pika, a two-year-old Malinois, now serves as the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office K9 alongside her handler, Sgt. William Hines. Her native language is Czech, but she is learning English on the job and has already become a favorite in the squad room.
