Jan. 1 was the first New Year’s Day since 2015 that Delayna Jackson wasn’t in jail.
The 23-year-old from Lorena will graduate from the Miracles and Blessings program at Jonesboro on Feb. 13 and has been clean and sober for five months. She shared her story at Living Hope Outreach Monday night.
“I’m so proud of myself,” she said Monday afternoon, “I’ve never been proud of myself before.”
