Hamilton has at least 16 Texas Historical Markers. From these markers, I have learned that early Hamiltonians were tough and had to fight Indians. A lot of places burned, which meant a lot of history was lost. My great-great-great-grandparents might have come to Hamilton because of letters written by Elise Waerenskjold.
