The Hamilton County commissioners courtroom was filled with visitors Nov. 14 as library volunteers and patrons lined up to protest a significant cut to their annual budget.
County Judge James Yates said the library’s budget was reduced from $10,000 to $3000 for 2023-24 because some thought the services were geared toward the city with few services to county residents.
