Independence Day

Citizens gather at the Hamilton Courthouse for the reading of the Declaration of Independence on the morning of July 4. During the afternoon, families gathered at Pecan Creek Park for fun and fireworks hosted by Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. The Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department gave away nearly 1000 hot dogs and Hamilton Police Department handed out more than 400 snow cones.
