Winds reaching up to 57 miles per hour Tuesday afternoon blew the metal roof off a home, fueled a grass fire, knocked over deer stands at Higginbotham Brothers and detached an HVAC unit from the top of Ann Whitney Elementary School, causing students to evacuate to Hamilton High.
