Hamilton dad and volunteer firefighter Rocky Bates died Saturday, Oct. 13, in a two-vehicle crash east of Hamilton.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. to an accident on State Highway 22 just east of County Road 221.
A 1985 Honda motorcycle was traveling eastbound, and a 2005 GMC pickup was pulling out of a private drive onto the highway.
