Hamilton County has a new positive case of COVID-19, County Health Authority Dr. Randy Lee said Tuesday.
The new case brings Hamilton’s total cases to 8.
Dr. Lee said local nursing home residents are being tested for the virus following a mandate by Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott. He said no positive cases have been reported in the nursing homes.
