Hamilton County turned out in record numbers for last week’s federal, state and local combined election at the courthouse.
Locally, the late Jim McInnis was re-elected mayor wtih 723 votes to 457 for challenger Springer Courtney.
McInnis passed away just a few days prior to the election. Hamilton City Council members will decide next week whether to appoint someone to the position or leave it vacant…
