A 38-year-old Gatesville man walking in the eastbound lane of US 84 east of Gatesville last week was killed when he was struck by a vehicle traveling in the lane.
Joseph Cleddy-Craig Baize was walking in the middle of the road about 9:55 p.m. on Aug. 4 when a 2016 GMC Yukon driven by a 74-year-old man from McGregor struck him as he failed to yield right of way.
