Hamilton Independent School district board of trustees accepted the Sept. 25 letter of resignation of school board vice-president Diana Freeman effective immediately during Monday evening’s meeting.
Freeman was not present, but the board thanked her for all she has done for HISD.
Her seat will not be filled until the May 24 elections.
