The U.S. Department of Agriculture plans to build a domestic sterile insect production facility as the threat of the New World screwworm grows.
The facility, which U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced alongside Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, will be built at Moore Air Base in Edinburg.
