Local election filings opened Jan. 19 in Hamilton and surrounding areas.
Filing will close for the May 7 election on Feb. 18 at 5 p.m.
Hamilton City Council will have several positions open for city council and mayor.
Positions will include an open seat formerly held by Justin Slone who resigned in May 2020, the seat currently W held by Cody Morris and the mayor’s seat held by Rodney Craddick.
