The City of Evant Water Department put into effect Stage 1 of mandatory water conservation on Monday.
Stage 1 means alternating day usage of water for outdoor purposes such as lawns, gardens, car washing, etc.
The City of Evant is asking residents to participate in these outdoor watering activities on odd days only – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 p.m. to noon.
