The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas gathered near Duffau, Erath County, to dedicate three medallions in honor of Willard Chamberlin. He was recognized as a defender, a veteran, and a citizen of The Republic of Texas for his service in the Siege of Bexar, at the Battle of San Jacinto, and as a pioneer landowner.
