Hamilton County has 27 active COVID-19 cases, Dr. Randy Lee, County Health Authority, said Tuesday afternoon.
There have been eight deaths in the county since the pandemic began, all in the two oldest age categories, 70-79 and 80+.
“I am very concerned about mortality trends in our communities’ most at-risk populations,” Dr. Lee said.
