Hamilton City Council last Thursday adopted its annual budget and tax rate and moved forward on several projects in preparation for the coming year.
Mayor Jim McInnis and council members Beverly Gilstrap, John Galindo, Henry DeLeon, Cody Morris and Jim Eidson unanimously adopted the tax rate of $.5633 per $100 valuation.
The budget includes $25,000 for rehabilitation of the Hamilton Municipal Pool.
