Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1982 will honor Capt. Walter T. Saxon with a memorial service at noon Saturday in the Old Hamilton Cemetery on Railroad Street.
The ceremony will include a biography reading and Black Rose Ceremony performed by the Texas Society Order of Confederate Rose followed by a canteen ceremony by Camp 1982 and a black powder musket salute.
