Hamilton County Commissioners Court last Tuesday adopted a deficit budget for 2018-19 as well as subdivision rules for the county.
The budget is based on an ad valorem tax rate of $0.5605, a number that has not changed in three years.
The budget includes reserves in dedicated funds totaling $4.6 million including $3.4 million in the general fund and $510,000 in dedicated accounts.
