Morgan Henkes and Lexie Ward, Hamilton Junior High band students, received honors at the Association of Texas Small school Banks Region 7 South Zone Middle School contest. Morgan placed third chair in alto saxophone in symphonic band, and Lexie placed fourth chair trumpet in concert band. Both will participate in the clinic and concert at Tarleton State University Jan. 18.
