Evant High School seniors Maura Mascara and Amy Pritchard are heading to state after scoring honors in the Regional UIL meet.
Pritchard took first place in regional in copy editing and feature writing and second in headline writing, which qualified her for state.
Mascara was first place and top scorer in biology at regions and fourth overall in science.
