American Legion Post 222 will host the annual anvil shoot and breakfast Nov. 11 at the American Legion Hall,, 412 N. US Highway 281.
Activities begin at 5 a.m. with a loud explosion created by a hot iron touched to a fuse leading to black powder between two large anvils.
A free breakfast will follow.
