Victor Lloyd

Victor Lloyd, beloved husband, father, and Papa, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White, surrounded by loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville.

His battle with serious health issues in recent years showed not only his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile and a laugh, but his unrelenting stubbornness. Despite the pain and suffering, Victor taught us that with just enough humor and family support, the human spirit can endure.

Victor was born to Donald and Elizabeth Lloyd on Jan. 21, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri. Early in life Victor found a passion for mechanical work, fabrication, travel and the outdoors – leading to him to meet his wife, Donna Lloyd. They married on Sept. 21, 1968, in Reno, Nevada.

Together they had three children, Cherrie, Julie and Vincent.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Elizabeth Lloyd; daughter Elizabeth; and sons Gary and Vincent Lloyd.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lloyd; daughters Julie Surley, Cherrie Rontu and Sarah Walker; sons Chris Walker and Victor Lloyd; brothers Barry, Donny and Bobby; sisters Julie Weidhard, Nan Beal and Helen Robbins; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews.
