Truman Marwitz, 89, of Priddy died Dec. 18, 2018, in Comanche.

Services were Friday, Dec. 21, at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Schimmel officiating. Burial was in St. John Cemetery in Priddy.

Mr. Marwitz was born March 17, 1929, in Hamilton County, the son of Walter J. Marwitz and Dora Nauert.

He was married to Willidean “Deanie” Witzscher on Oct. 29, 1949, in Priddy.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and owner of a distributing company. He was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. Marwitz and Dora Nauert Marwitz; son Danny Marwitz in 2013; great-granddaughter Taylee Sandoval; and sister Shirley Zoch.

Survivors include his wife, Deanie Marwitz of Priddy; daughter Karen Tyson and husband Anthony of Newburg; daughter-in-law Cindy Marwitz of Comanche; grandchildren Kristi Sandoval, Stanton Marwitz, Ryan Marwitz, Jacob Marwitz and Brady Tyson; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister Anita Hopper and husband WJ of Priddy.

Pallbearers were his grandchildren and Craig Hopper, Gaylon Marwitz and Michael Hopper. Honorary pallbearers were Martin Seider, Lohman Feist, Victor Walthers, Habert Hopper and Ricky Carr.
