Patricia Ann Bottlinger passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 6, at St Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Aleman with Rev. Ken Hennings officiating.

Patricia was born Aug. 19, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Charles and Margaret (Dunham) Nichols. She was an only child and a “daddy’s girl.”

She spent most of her childhood in Pasadena, California, until the death of her father. At age 14, she and her mother moved to Gustine, where she graduated from Gustine High School in May 1954. She was a Tiger cheerleader and mascot.

On June 12, 1954, Patricia married Murlin Bottlinger. She was confirmed and became a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton. Together they were blessed with four children, Mark, Charles, Rebecca and Steven.

In January 1989, Patricia married Bryan Bottlinger. Bryan and Patricia enjoyed 18 years of ranching and country living until Bryan’s death in April 2007.

Patricia enjoyed photography, wildlife, crafts and loved various animals. She remained friends with her Gustine classmates throughout her lifetime, playing cards, meeting them for class reunions and seeing them on Friday nights for dinner at the café in Gustine.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bryan, and son Mark.

She is survived by her children Charlie and Mischelle Bottlinger of Hamilton, Rebecca Bottlinger of Boerne, and Steven Bottlinger of Hamilton; grandchildren Rachel Bottlinger, Nicolas Bottlinger, Lee and Mandy Kirkland, Tonya and Justin Coalson and Trena and Johnny Guerra; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service were Nic Bottlinger, Dalton Curb, Marvin Payne, Darman Wagner, Doug Wagner and Robert Witzsche.
