Kay Blackburn

Sandra Kay Blackburn, 78, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, in Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow in Murphree Cemetery in Evant.

Kay was born on July 14, 1942, in Lampasas to Jerry and Mona Jones Gee. She married RD Blackburn on Dec. 15, 1961. They were happily married for 60 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, RD Blackburn on Feb. 14, 2021, and, brother-in-law, Jackie Blackburn.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Betty Weeks and husband Gail, Jimmie Blackburn, Teresa Cathey and husband Bobby and Glenda Shinn and husband CE; brother-in-law Bill Blackburn and wife Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
