Throughout his entire life he was faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a member of the United Methodist Church.

Doyal also served as a long-term member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry Billingsley, his sister Margaret Nix and brother-in-law Keg Nix.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Billingsley; daughters Melissa and husband Trine Villarreal of Amarillo and Melanie and husband Rick Housden of Hamilton; grandchildren Brittany Cotgreave and husband Derek, Kelby Villarreal, Alex Reich and husband Reagan, Cambree Villarreal; and Abbie Housden and boyfriend Hunter Creasey; and three great-grandchildren Quinn and Kayson Cotgreave and Sloane Reich.
