Dorothy Stockton

Dorothy Ann Stockton, 83, of Hamilton, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2021, in Temple.

Dorothy was born to Robert and Nina (Jackson) Basey in Travis County, where she was raised with numerous brothers and sisters.

Dorothy was all about family. She was happiest when she had a house full. Well known amongst the kids for her biscuits and cornbread. She was loved by many and well known for her love of God. Her dream was all of us all meeting again in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence William Stockton in June 1992; brothers Leory, Howard, Robert (Frog), David and Richard Basey; sister Rosie Calhoun; and grandsons Rocky and Roy Bates.

She is survived by her children Alfred Stockton, Patricia Stockton, Dudley Stockton and wife Charlene, Julia Jones (Stockton) and husband Isaac; great-great-grandson Rylan; and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in Christ.
