Charlie Christianson Krueger

Charlie Christianson Krueger joined her beloved Cecil in heaven on June 9, 2021, at the age of 88 in Fort Worth.

Charlie was born in Hamilton County to Alfred and Lena Christianson on March 18, 1933. Charlie was a woman of great faith, a big heart and a devotion like none other to her family. Charlie was a member of St Paul United Methodist Church for 50 years before its closing and then transferred her membership to Edge Park United Methodist Church.

Charlie could often be found working in her yard, cooking a meal or spending time with her family and friends. Charlie always looked forward to her “Friday Night Gang,” where her oldest and dearest friends shared meals, laughs and games.

Charlie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Cecil Krueger, her parents, her only sibling Mildred Kauitzsch and brother-in-law Cecil.

She is survived by her children, Kathey Youngblood (Scott), Mary Kay Krueger, Kevin Krueger (Jane), Charles “Chuck” Krueger (Donna), eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at Edge Park UMC in Fort Worth at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19. Following the service, please join the family for some of Charlie’s cookies, a cup of coffee and conversation.

Memorial donations may be made to the kitchen remodel fund at Edge Park United Methodist Church, where she spent so much of her time serving God and loving others.
