BT Thompson

Boyd Thompson, known as BT by most, passed away Dec. 17, 2020, in Waco.

A memorial service was set for Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home.

He was born in Brownwood on April 13, 1964, to William Joel Thompson and Lela Mae Fitzhugh Thompson.

Boyd married the love of his life, Vicki in Hamilton in 1992 and gladly became a wonderful father figure to Josh and later welcomed his daughter Brandi.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed. He had many friends and loved to sit around swapping stories or riding the back roads with a cold beer.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents and several close friends and family.

He leaves behind his wife Vicki; son Josh and wife Brittany; daughter Brandi and husband Brandon; six grandchildren, Danny, Skyler,

Nicholas, Jaycie, Jacob and Kayleigh; brother Gary; sisters Judy, Brenda, Janet, Cindy and Teresa; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
