Blain Matthew Bankston was born in Hamilton March 24, 2002, to Brent and Victoria Bankston.

He had two siblings, Chelsi and Bryce, whom he loved fiercely.

Being a hometown athlete, most know Blain’s passion for Bulldog football. He was a star on the field and a leader in the field house. He considered his teammates his brothers, as well as so many Bulldog Buddies.

Blain also loved baseball and track, as long as Coach D wouldn’t ask him to run the 4 X 400 relay!

In his free time, Blain loved the outdoors and spent time hunting and fishing. He had tons of friends who could always count on him to answer their call. He absolutely hated bullying and was known for his willingness to intervene on behalf of others. He was known for his manners and always being respectful and polite.

Blain spent a lot of time trying to convince his “step parents” Kendra and Tyler Schmidt, to let him drive their truck “White Trash.”

He was also super impressed with himself when he took his muffler off his truck and made it extra loud.

Blain loved his puppy, Blue, and Bush’s sweet tea.

He spent his summers working at Lawson’s and recently began working at Brookshire Brothers.

Blain was a part of a huge family, some through biology and others through love.

Most recently and importantly, Blain developed a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. The love Blain found for Christ was something he desperately wanted to share with others. He wanted to make a change in his community. Let this be his greatest legacy!
