Hamilton Police Department is making plans for the annual National Night Out Tuesday, Oct. 2, 6 to 9 p.m. at Jayson Harris Pavilion at Fair Park.

The nationwide event promotes local police and community partnerships and provides and opportunity for law enforcement to foster relationships and cooperation with citizens of Hamilton.

“We welcome everyone to come and enjoy the evening,” said Chief Keith Madison. “Food, music, kids activities, freebies and games will fill the evening.

When the Stock Horse of Texas folks come to Circle T, they put on one of the most spectator-friendly competitions of the year.

They offer four concurrent events – Working Cow Horse, Reining, Trail and Stock Horse Pleasure – so if reining is not your thing, you always have three other options.

Also, each event has divisions based on the rider’s or horse’s age or the rider’s experience, so whether you like to watch the youngsters or the professionals, there’s always something going on.
